- This is Why - was informally formed in 2001, starting as a live home studio project.
At that time, I was somehow dissatisfied with my band - NonDit - . I always wished our songs to be recorded by ourselves but unfortunately, I couldn't motivate the others to do it. 
Meanwhile, there were several songs written by Laurie and me that NonDit were not so keen on playing.
So, this is why we started this is why, this is where the band name came from and this is why this is why is a pure studio band.
